Saturdays, 10:30am - 12:30pm, May 18 - June 15 (Updated: Four 2-hour sessions. No class 5/25)

Elements of Patternmaking is for people that are ready to immerse themselves in the study of clothing design and engineering. In this class, learn the fundamental concepts, terms, tools and techniques needed in the patternmaking trade. Develop an understanding of fit and be introduced to several basic drafting techniques. Sign up for our other Patternmaking classes to fulfill design ideas this class is sure to inspire.

  • This class is a prerequisite for all other Patternmaking classes

  • Meets weekly for 5 weeks, 1.5 hours per session.

  • This class is offered twice every quarter.

  • It is recommended that Elements of Sewing be taken concurrently, or consecutively, with this class.
